His opponents in recent years have been shyt. Old man Sting, Reigns and Ambrose? No wonder the matches are shyt. Put him with Ziggler and the match was pretty good.

Put Trips in there with Styles/Rollins/Joe and other great in ring performers and they'll carry him to a great match.

Reigns has had quality matches against damn near everybody not named HHH in the past few years.

He's not trash or anything but I'm at the thought of putting HHH in the ring with great/elite workers to be carried being the litmus test for him being a great/elite worker himself.

Aj/Finn can just be billed as the only interpromotion match.

If they wanna protect both guys, let the loser have his hand/leg on the ropes during a pinfall where the ref doesn't see it.

I think only the wwe cares about protecting wrestlers with wins and losses more than a common fan. I think they care less about a wrestlers win and loss record. Of course there's always different cases like goldbergs win streak.

Give aj and balor 25 minutes, the crowd will give them a standing ovation regardless who wins or loses.
