Greatness.

Hadn't seen that yet. That was a good segment. I didn't expect much from it when I heard about it.

"Da! Da! Da!" :dead: That'll be his catchphrase when he turns face.

lol @ Cole: "Come on, Rusev. Come get yourself some." Could he sound any less passionate? :camby:

It's hypocritical for The Rock & all of these Attitude/Ruthless Aggression era guys to come in and rain on this new generation's parade. WWE is having this Monday Night Wars special on the Network and criticize everything WCW did wrong, but here they are repeating what WCW did in 2014. Did Rock have to worry about Hogan or Macho Man coming back to take his spot? It's one thing for it to be a one off sort of thing, but for 3-4 years in a row that Rock/Lesnar/Batista/etc come back and take the spot? Oh, but these guys can't draw a dime. How can they even establish momentum when the rug gets pulled from under them each time?

Partly agree, partly disagree. I dont know if bringing Rock in is less justifed than the other two. Hes a superstar and as much as talent as there is, mainstream interest is only guaged by larger than life personalites like Rock to get the old fans to comeback. Batista and Lesnar though I sort of agree, they came from that ruthless agression era where they were kind of oversaturated and didnt have the legend appeal of a Hulk/Rock/Austin/Warrior/Hart etc but were kind of these big roadblock type athletes who saw week and week out and you felt other talent could have been utlized But I get bringing them back to put in a feud to get a rising star over even if it meant a half of year of back and forth wins.

I agree that'd be a good idea if they actually did that. That's not what happened though. Rock came back to wrestle Cena. Lesnar has only wrestled guys who were around in during the Ruthless Aggression era (e.g. Cena, Triple H). Both guys wrestled Punk though, and both guys went over Punk. Same can be said for Taker going back the last 5-6 years. Batista is the only one that put over the younger star in D-Bry, and that's mostly because their hands were forced.

But people wanted Rock vs Cena for years it was one of those dream matches, and to be honest the buyrates justified the move (He could have been more trained with the cardio and let loose on the mic more). Batista as you said was clearly brought to put two sets of young guys over (Bryan and the Shield) and that was the intention of him winning the Rumble and to get that old heat on him.
Lesnar is the only one I question in terms of putting a belt on him, but lets see if there's a payoff to this and the idea of him being away plays out into a storyline leading up to WM 31 with frustrated young talent calling him out (Reigns?). Certainly the way they've brought him back and booked him in his matches he's drawn the heat they wanted and hes that immovable object big heel that they always like to have. I just wouldnt have taken the title out of the picture but otherwise all 3 are more or less serving their purpose.

The issue more is why arent the writers developing the characters of the new talent and giving them storylines or making them jobbers with belts. That to me is a question that's irrespective of those 3 and I wouldnt say they are the reason for that issue or necesairly making it worse (Lesnar is debatable)

Even wrestlers can't have opinions anymore. :mjlol: Maybe it's the fans that are soft as a baby shyt for not being able to handle a different opinion of their favorite wrestler being offered up by someone you know, who has done more than look at him on a TV screen. Just saying. Back in the day people hated each other, made for great drama. I guess these days everybody has to be a bootlicker or something. Let these nikkas be petty if they want. They wrestle in leather panties and leggings for goodness sake. 'Ol why they gotta be so mean to each other looking asses.
I'm saying. Dude was honest and put his name to his comments and feelings. What's the problem? As long as that jealousy fuels him, I'm completely fine with this. That's just me though. :manny:

Its not natural to be jealous of another man's success, especially when that man represents the same "fraternity" that you do. Its immature and petty.

I notice a lot of white people seem to be ok with their jealousy of other people and understand when others are jealous of them. Why? I don't think I've heard any black wrestlers criticize The Rock, nor do they ever seem to be jealous of another black wrestler's success. I wonder why... :mjpls: #inherently
Seriously, breh? :rudy:
After hearing about his attitude in FCW/NXT and this I think we have a new target for a full on TSC turn. Seth could be Punk status by next year :pachaha:
Can't wait. Summer of Seth next year. :blessed:

I swear him and the wet-head one are scumbags. I'm :upsetfavre::comeon::rudy::camby: after every interview.
:deadrose:
Who is the wet head one?

EDIT: didn't book the link in OP.

Didn't come off as bitter as actually reading it but there's a CM Punk-lite element to Seth's real personality so I wouldn't doubt that there is a little bit of salt on his end.

Exactly. Acting like dude considers himself Hispanic is bottom of the barrel reaching. He's white and considers himself white, nothing wrong with that at all, but if he isn't spinning it, other posters shouldn't either. Fact is, most white people (most Americans period) are mixed with SOMETHING, very few are 100% anything, but that combination would still consider themselves white.
I haven't seen anything that says hes white and considers himself white. He said in the interview he was Armenian and his last name is Lopez regardless, so in your job application scenario any potential employer would believe him to be Hispanic based on the only required information given.

People base things primarily on appearance, in professional situations or otherwise. If you are unaware of this, I'd advise you to get familiar with this mentality because it tends to define most first interactions people have with you.

Rollins LOOKS white, has dominant white genetics, is from a small town of primarily white people in Ohio and makes no upfront indications that he considers himself to be anything other than white, I'd bet my check he considers himself white. Just because YOU have never read anything stating differently doesn't mean it does not exist. Nothing is wrong with this but when you actively choose to pick a side, you subconsciously start identifying yourself with and following the culture of the side you choose. Its why Political mentalities run so deep.

As far as this goes with the Rock, I find it amazing that so many wrestlers are taking the few moments off camera where they can give their true thoughts to speak negatively on him and his actions. There are literally 5 times as many white people (HHH, Taker, Brock, Jericho, RVD, etc.) doing the EXACT same thing as Rock that receive little to no criticism for doing the same thing, its a double standard and people act its a passable offense. At the absolute best its petty and immature and at the worst its speaks volumes about an engrained culture and mentality the WWE has.

Out of all of these haters CM Punk was probably the smartest because he actually had to apologize to the Rock, admitted he was wrong and then was able to turn it into an angle with him. It serves no purpose for guys like Ziggler or Rollins to make comments like this without working towards getting an angle with Rock. Frankly, I don't blame the Rock for having his own dressing room, he doesn't want to be surrounded with whining chumps like this when he has work to do.

Lol. Rendering your "job application" comment even more pointless fyi.

Id say you make too many assumptions and then operate as if those assumptions are fact. Theres a lot of things you just dont know, but you seem happy to jump to conclusions regardless so I'll let you cook.

How? Lol, because you don't like it? :what:

If you fill out an application and check the "white" box, you are more likely to get a call back than if you check the "black" or "other" box. This is unfortunately a proven fact, numerous studies have been done on it. What you look like and what you consider yourself is extremely important to how you will be perceived and in a business VERY prevalent on your LOOKS like Wrestling is, knowing which side of the line you are matters.

My point in bringing it up is speaking on the mindset of a certain segment of the population that seem to value and respect certain races and show an opposite set of reaching for other races. Rollins is just another name along a long line of disgruntled wrestlers complaining about the Rock, yet failing to mention the numerous other wrestlers who are guilty of everything The Rock has done. Why is The Rock being singled out? Why do all of these guys constantly speak out about him yet fail to address it in person?

It can't be person as too many separate individuals have spoken out about it. Either Rock is doing something to these guys or there is something more going on below the surface.
