Agreed. A rare miss from the show. I actually found the story reveals really interesting. But gahd dayum was it slow as hell. And I love a slow burn.Story wise it was interesting, execution was just boring as fukk. This will be the episode people skip or rank last going forward.
What?
Same. I don’t understand the hype beside the visuals and the interior design pieces. I was bored out my mind.
I think it is one of those shows that’s cool to say you like—it gives off a certain intellectual or in-the-know vibe. Kind of like having the latest iPhone or carrying a Starbucks cup. It’s part genuine appreciation, part social currency.
I think the Cold Harbor meter messed things up.It’s mind-boggling because the show is extremely well-crafted on the technical front, with great performances, and the intrigue stays drawing me in. There was a nice balance between vibes and actual plot progression in the first season and I’m just not feeling it here in the latter half. Not sure what happened.
