Crazy ass episode. Ms Huang is a psychopath.
I’m out.
I’m not engaged, interested, amused or impressed. By any of it.
Feels like a group of writers and a director just jerking themselves off and having a helluva time. But somehow doing it as slowly as humanly possible.
Consistently the longest 45 minutes of my week without fail. Every episode feels like 90 minutes but it’s 45 with 2-3 minutes of that being opening and closing credits.
And I refuse to dive into theories and shyt, and frankly the show hasn’t done anything to earn that time and effort from me. The outside is a mystery, the inside is a mystery. The people are a mystery. The work is a mystery. The time period is a mystery. Is it even Earth? Who gives a shyt.
I’ll read an article that explains the whole show once it’s all over.
there is a big elephant of logic pie that's getting bigger all of the time which they are not addressing.
they just ignore them to help the logic stick together as the world expands.
in the finale they could have done a lot more to get their point across.
having that new room where chubby breh .. is crazy and an op for points.
even taking so long to question why milf was there doesn't make sense.
and if mikeis sure his wife is there then call the police.
how did you arrange for a book reading but not mention the (missing) book gift.
how is milf going into your yard (brazen front door entry no less) without you or anyone else noticing .. anything
the override means that the severance is not spatially controlled then. and if they can remotely flip that switch and overwrite you, would anyone willingly let that be done to them. only the desperate with no other choice and definitely not one of the owners.
helena is walking around with remote controlled bomb in her head that could kill her (overwrite her) at any time.
your inne could kill you at any time. would you take the risk? wouldn't you insist on regular contact with your inne to make sure they are ok, rather than just take the company's word for it.
despite that it's still great (still) with a great mythos in particular.
i expect the growing logic issues mean that there cannot be many seasons of the show.
Man trust your instincts.I’m out.

I thought of a typed this whole post with the first 16 minutes of episode 5 on in the background. Didn’t miss a thing. Because nothing happened.

I need to start watching it with the subs on because they'll occasionally throw in big words I've never heard before so I didn't catch the "re-canonicalized painting" the first time. I was stuck on pause for a hot minute looking at those paintings like "hold on, Kier ain't... then why is he..."
Now this is a theory I can get behind:
I watched a recap that thinks he emerged but is just playing the cut. I kinda agree with you cause they did a bunch of subtle things to let us know Helly was Hellen, but nothing with Mark gave me that feeling. Could be that he’s letting iMark run the show while he observes? Is he just a passenger? To me, the only way to explain him sleeping with Helly is that he hasn’t emerged yet or is just a passenger. And if he hasn’t emerged, does the process take time?
Unrelated… but Natalie is getting smashed, way before I consider looking in Helly R direction. The acting is so damn good on this show
When Milchik asked Natalie about the painting...her expressions![]()

The whole point is Milcheck is doing things differently from Cobell.they introduced his son because it was season 1 and they were developing the world/tech.
the wife is a tack on as her visits do not make sense in the context of the strict "no info" rules of season one.
