Designer, actress, model Courtney Allegra was born and raised in San Diego California, and it's safe to say that talent runs in the family. One of her siblings, Josh Welch is a movie director and cinematographer while her oldest brother JB Welch, is a music producer and DJ. Surrounded by talented people as a kid, Courtney couldn't help but become interested in film, music, and the fashion industry herself.

Designing since the age of twelve, Courtney Allegra's drive to excel blossomed as she turned her passion into a business when she began to produce her designs.

Courtney Allegra has been featured in multiple print and web publications, music videos with big name artist like Chris Brown and Tyga, and on many national TV shows such as NBC's Today Show with her mentor Rachel Roy.

Recording Artists Josh and JB Welch got launched in music with their hit reality TV show "Josh and JB in the Industry".

Born and raised in Jamul, a rural and spectacular region of rolling hills 20 miles east of downtown San Diego, California brothers Josh and JB Welch make up this talented young group. Josh & JB are from a multi-racial background and come from a strong musical heritage. Theatre and dance experience for Josh and JB stemmed at an early age from when their family opened a San Diego based theatre and dance group called "Applause Theatre," where both JB and Josh stepped onto the stage for live performances in plays like "Rumors" and "Our Town" and performed with the La Jolla Stage Company in "Amadeus." Since then Josh & JB have both been under the acting guidance of Hollywood, Broadway directors and great choreographers. JB is currently in his second year of college. He began playing the piano at a young age and as he became older grew a passion for playing the guitar. Josh is currently in the 10th grade and the younger of the two. They recall it as if it were just yesterday when he and his brother came up with the idea of starting the label and now it has actually become a reality.

Now the young men take aim at launching their new album and worldwide tour alongside the launch of Vain, a thrilling vampire rock and roll flick written and directed by 18 year-old Josh Welch. This has has been an exhilarating ride for San Diego’s top rock band after the two made their way through a CBS syndicated show and now readies to open up their tour in 2012 with a slate of TV, film and music releases.

“Telling a story in a film like Vain, is what I feel most thrilled about.” said Josh Welch. While Josh pens the screenplay, his brother JB is busy writing the lyrics and producing the sound track in their new home studio just set up on the family’s ranch in Jamul, California. “I’m involved daily on the music and acting side, and more with the writing the song lyrics for the band in the movie while Josh sorts out the scenes and script”.The two brothers work together very well on creating music, TV shows and movies and have already done more than 13 half hour episodes of television together.

In 2009 the two brothers got their start on a nationwide roll out on syndicated stations (primarily CBS and ABC stations nationwide) with their search to find a band and launch a record label, aptly names “Junior Records”. When no talent could be located after fights, drama and more than 30 hopefuls getting tossed from the show, it was time for the two young boys to strike out on their in own in music. They quickly got connected to Billboard winning producers, Grammy winning writers, and just completed production on 5 new songs with chart smashing music producer J. Bynum which will be part of the Vain movie sound track.

Their 14 year-old sister Courtney Welch will also co star in the movie in the role of Kyra, as an mischievous vampire, which Josh refers to as a character who is “cute but definitely a little demon“ (go figure, her older brother Josh of course wrote this role for his sister in the script).

My initial question was about how she broke into the fashion world. There's a big difference between having grit versus one's parents purchasing a career for you. Read her brothers' biographies.

There is no way in hell her brother became the world's youngest producer due to grit and hard work. The clue is the theatre the parents owned where their kids were involved in the productions.

I believe Ms. Allegra and her brothers are the product of Pauley Shore style favoritism and public relations puffery. Shore's mother owned a comedy store. His connects were family before they were grit.

So what deals did Mom and Dad make to purchase a fashion design lark for their little girl?
