The problem with this argument is always that y'all put so much blame on the machine and never on the black folks that elevated these acts to the level where the machine takes notice in the first place

Everybody and their mother wanna(or at least think they wanna)blow up as a music artist. The idea can be very seductive, especially to young men and women of little means.
And yes, there are whole legit rooms full of people whose sole job is to write crazy wwe like storylines for the next big rising star.
But u are absolutely correct that its up to us to keep that shyt out of the ears of those we hold dear, at least until they are older and already programmed correctly as adults, and can distinguish the whole "its (supposed to be) entertainment" thing.
