They would up giving it to some Asian dude for the movie The Killing Fields who had ZERO acting experience and never starred in another well known film.

CJ was just country as hell and very simple…I viewed waters more so the “c00n” based on his targeting of him…as stated, some of his thoughts/ideas weren’t wrong or off-base but he was so concerned with putting forth a rigid image for white ppl that it led to an unnecessary hatred/broad painting of what he deemed “lesser” black folks…and the dude in france definitely needed an ass kicking…killing him was too far tho…very complex movie that is overdue for a rewatch on my end…last time I saw it was maybe in my early-mid 20s…I’ve changed enough since then that maybe my view(s) will be different…I could be wrong cuz as I’ve said I haven’t seen this in decades but I also recall his character skinning his teeth and having absolutely no smoke for a white officer at one point in the movie
