I tried to top out my Scatty on the highway once. Got pulled over when I was slowing down at 90 something, dude saw my top speed on the dash at like 182(I could have gone faster but it scared me because the car started feeling light so I slowed down)and I just knew I was going to jail when dude pulled me over. I was cordial with him said it was like 2 am nobody on the road on a long stretch and I just wanted to test it out. Dude just said slow it down, I don't know how fast you were going when you passed me but I only knew what kind of car it was because of the headlights, he said slow it down and be safe, he don't wanna get a call saying somebody died and he let me go. Said he didn't feel like doing all that paperwork and I wasn't an a$$hole and sent me on my way. I don't think I've gone over 80 since

Y'all nikkahs wilding. In a performance car you NEED a radar detector. Granted, laser can't be beat since its instant, but at 2am, that cop very likely was only using radar. You would've known he was there 2 miles back.


Also if you want to do a speed run, its best to spot, turn around, then do your run.

about 3 months ago I was driving at 4am down the highway going around 80 in the middle lane, suddenly a cop suv pulls up behind me and I obviously step on my brakes. now im thinking fuk, im looking at a 500 dollar ticket



suddenly the cop suv pulls to the right of me and goes in front of me and im like




then he flashes his lights at me and drives off, now every time i drive on that highway i barely go 70 cause I know his azz is watching me

Thats the unfortunate part about performance cars, can't really do anything unless you on a track. Its why the Mazda Miata is praised so much. Slow as hell, but fun and you can floor it everywhere. I need to drive one some day.

We have a track here that I kinda built it up for, haven't had a chance to go since the police incident but this coming spring I will. It's a road course, not trying to take it to a drag strip, I've been before and I was thinking that a Challenger would suck on a road course but apparently if you mod it right it's one of the most fun cars to drive on a road course.
