FYI the reason it was challenged is because the failed drug test was in December and had a 20 day window.

She was tested positive by the Russian doping organisation but they had to forward the test/results to a Swedish testing organisation which took over a month. Quite simply someone fumbled the timescale.

Apparently, the court partially based their decision on Kamila’s age. Athletes under 16 are reportedly get more rights under anti-doping rules than adult athletes. The case is under investigation, but Kamila will be allowed to compete. If she places in the top three, ESPN reports that the International Olympic Committee will not have a medal ceremony until the investigation is complete.

Unless the heart medication somehow improves performance, or she had a medical reason for smoking, I don't see how it's comparable.
