I could be wrong, I've been wrong before but Yoel is getting washed. He's that dude that looks the part, will always be a hit or 2 away but just won't get it. He's good, really good but just isn't in the cards for him.

Pretty much everyone does it, but I read this article early last year. It stated that conventional wisdom says weighted shadow boxing will lead to quicker hand speed.

But, according to this article...weighted shadow boxing trains your muscles, tendons, and everything else to throw punches slower than you would if you just did other speed training minus the weighted shadow boxing.


I dont remember the ins and outside of the article, but I do remember thinking damn a few of these key points makes sense..

I remember in high school someone was like "if you run your 100 yard dashes with ankle weights, when you take them off youll run faster :mjgrin:"

Track coach almost beat some kids to death that spring.
