Shaduer was QB37 coming out of HS. Dart was QB11. Shaduer as a 3 star prospect. Dart a 4. He’s BEEN on nfl radar

All true, but Alex Smith was told ahead of time that they were taking Mahomes and it was mutually understood that he was supposed to the future of the team. Despite knowing his time was up he did all he could to get Mahomes ready to take over, even though the KC brass said it was on them and not Smith to help develop Mahomes.

Mahomes landed with the right team and the right pro at the right time.
