You’re assuming that the narrative about Shedeur being arrogant in all his interviews is true. Like these people don’t lie or tell half truths.

True, but we have enough data to make an educated guess and I 100% believe it.

The way he spoke at the combine. How he is in vids with Cam, the eventual #1 pick yet Shaduer talking to him like that’s the lil homie. Perhaps most importantly, and I’ve said half a dozen times: he threw his o-line under the bus. There’s possibly no worse thing you can do as a QB. An ultimate sign of football character.

He deflects blame. He has that ‘stay on code, can’t show weakness’ type cockiness that a lot of youngins have. He comes off as the rich kid pretty boy cry baby type.

Yall really forgetting the demogrqohic of this site. Bruh I’m old enough to be Shaduer’s DAD :heh: I got 2 nephews his age I can read him easily

Nah keep that. We don’t breed victims over here

The lesson here is a lesson a mentor told me at my first real job, when he saw me hanging with the OG’s taking 2 hour lunches : your headache/baggage/issues can’t outweigh worth. Just bc they can do it don’t mean you can. Put your head down and go to work and earn your right to do what you want. Shaduer was cuttin up in them meetings trying to cosplay as his pops in 87.

Also you supposed to treat the garbage man the same way you treat the CEO. Old school man law. Instead, they trying to make arrogant cool. Arrogant has NEVER been cool. And yes, I know the difference between confidence and arrogance.

Ie Prime’s reaction to Tyler shough being drafted like this ain’t a moment for that kid too. For ages that’s been protocol that you don’t shade another player or show them up. They throwing that out the window. But acting like a victim. I don’t fukk wit it.
This is the realist shyt I’ve read on this website in a long time. This applies to real life as well. I’ve learned once you’ve made your self invaluable to a company you can start getting away with things you normally wouldn’t . I kept my head down on some yes sir shyt at my new gig for 6 months and performed well. Now I can literally do whatever I want as long as I’m available to be reached. You just got to put the work in first .

I don’t believe he acted that way with all teams. And the people from teams he may have been dismissive towards are going out of their way to smear his image. More than anything he probably was visibly disinterested and gave short answers to teams he didn’t want to go to. The narrative is that he looked them in the eyes and straight up told them they ain’t shyt, which I don’t believe at all.

I’ve heard Joe Burrow as a comparison.. and I actually think his ceiling is somewhere around there. Which is a massive W

He’s gotten better every year he’s been a QB, so the progress is in a positive direction

He has things to work on, but the tools are there.

His arm strength isn’t the best, and his deep ball accuracy is hit or miss. His awareness around the pocket is both elite, and a detriment in that he can take sacks he shouldn’t

He’s the #1 QB in this draft and I don’t think that’s a tough call at all

The same teams people are now begging to draft him right? :what: :heh: :snoop:

Why wouldn’t the Steelers or Rams take him? Let him sit for a few years until their QB retires.
:patrice:
Steelers still waiting on Rodgers?
:dahell:

Because they don't rate him? These guys know more about it than we do. Whether it's his play or his attitude either way they don't want that in the building. Can Sheduer happily sit on the bench for 2-3 seasons without any drama? Doubt it. He has come into this process overly privileged expecting he could turn down teams and they'd be lucky to have him. You can't carry yourself like that as a QB! it's just a huge red flag. He may still ball out but he has work to do.
