Tf…..Again yall have no respect (or knowledge) of the QB position

It’s the hardest position to play (and succeed) in all of sports. At any given moment there’s about 15 dudes on the planet that you can say ‘yep, he’s got this down we don’t need to look elsewhere he’s the one’. 15!

He can study til he’s blue in the face and still not be good enough. QBs FAR more naturally gifted haven’t made it. Yall talkin like he’s a natural. ‘I think he can be great’. Ngga based on WHAT. :heh:
He’s not even saying Sheduer can be a reliable franchise QB…which is crazy enough. He’s saying he can be GREAT

Id say at any given time there are less than 5 great QBs on the planet. He thinks he has to potential to get to that level for some reason, which makes his statement even wilder

So y’all bump the thread and take victory laps when he’s named starter in a preseason game, but not a peep when he shyts the bed :mjlol:

5 sacks. Doin the same reckless ‘Save my percentage’ nut shyt he was doing at CU. Only if we could have seen this coming. Oh wait…

And that last one I said 2 years ago. :francis:
One of my biggest complaints about passer rating is that it doesn’t factor in sacks.

This is tender dikk behavior, you are better than this breh respectfully.

Like I said before....Shedeur needs to watch film, practice harder and gain some wheels cause the age of maneuvering in the pocket is over. Plus he needs to learn to throw the ball away.

:mjlol: So now he don’t run the same offense wtf yall move tf outta them goalpost
This is true to an extent. Coaches have plays set for the game and based on who is playing.

They could have given Shedeur some horrible plays, but it's up to Shedeur to manage the LOS and recognize blitzes and mismatches.

He also was scrambling too much backwards in the pocket and should have thrown the ball away on at least 2 of those sacks.

They could’ve given him plays they only practiced a handful of times all summer. It’s the same with everyone else who played with him.

When you practice with the ones and twos, the meetings and preparation is different. The development is also different, which is why Shedeur came in early and stays late, just to get some form of practice in.

For people than don’t understand that as a quarterback, it’s not the same. A third or fourth string position player will at least get a lot of practice on special teams. A kicker or punter gets to kick. But a quarterback has to know the playbook and what everyone else is supposed to do in offense.

The problem with that is nobody was saying the same exact play calling was bad when he did good

The dudes a rookie.. the fact that people are so mad on either side of the argument is hilarious. Mahomes ain’t even start year one :dead:
they had a plan with Mahomes though and people forget Mahomes had to fight the notion that Big XII QB's were generally garbage and he was considered raw at that, so Mahomes coming to be Smith's backup was accepted by everyone
