There are a lot of NBA players you can learn from and take things from to add to your game, some legends, some just good players. Kobe, Jamal Crawford, Joe Johnson, Tim Hardaway, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf etc.

LeBron isn't one of them. Footwork is trash, his signature step back a 5 year old can do. He's just an athlete who plays ball.

:laff:

So when did the NBA become devoid of athletes in the last 20 years?

Zion is a PF and his game is more fun to watch than LeBron's. I've never found LeBron's game entertaining...same power dunks and he just doesn't look fluid. It's amazing the amount of stats he puts up with such an ugly game.

There's a reason Curry's moments at the Olympics were so hyped and the focal point of USA Basketball highlights because not only was he clutch but his moves and shooting is aesthetically pleasing. I don't even need to look it up but I bet the Curry Olympic highlights have more views than Lebron despite them gifting him the MVP.

this Shai season is better than any Kobe season , 68 wins. , MVP , super efficient, Closest to a MJ season as a guard

Raw stats, advanced stats, analytics... all say that Shai from age 24-26 was actually better at basketball than Kobe, Steph, and Kawhi (and many others) at the same age range, and only slightly behind prime KD (who was hurt at 26, but a 32ppg MVP at age 25).

He's actually an all-time talent, 4-wins away from being immortalized.

That he thinks Kobe is the GOAT and said whatever he said about LeBron is just the final piece I didn't know was already put in motion years ag: solidifying his place in coli stan wars :mjlol:

I get what you’re trying to say but saying “he’s just an athlete who plays ball” is disingenuous and downright disrespectful. You don’t accomplish what he did by just being an athlete who plays ball.

Yup. No hate but nebulous shyt like “skill set” “aesthetics” is the only way he can even be mentioned. Cause his numbers aren’t as good as MJ/ Shai or LeBron lol.

I think what he saying is Kobe has influenced GOAT level players better then him, while Bron giving us Ben Simmons/Lonzo Ball types. And really anyone that Kobe influenced is really a downstream product of Jordan, so we can can conclude he is the runaway GOAT :lolbron:

I know you was trolling with that Randle shy lol. But I see some influence in Luka/Jokic/Harden on offense. All high level scorers and playmakers.
