To be fair Tatum at that age wasn't "Tatum" yet, I ain't counting then early career wins on a loaded team...

Tatum was the leading scorer on the team in those playoffs. Kyrie was hurt. It was Tatum, Horford, Smart, Rozier, 21-year old Brown.

Then two years later after Kyrie was gone, they made the Eastern Conference Finals again when Tatum was 21.

Then they did again... etc..

I don't count anything before the 2020s for Tatum. He wasn't really "Tatum" yet, but I hear you...

On the thread topic -

This is a learning curve for Shai that he's not going to get the same calls as he did in the regular season. He can't supplement his scoring and force the defense to be cautious when the whistle isn't as favorable to him. Fortunately for him, he's not a one-trick pony like Harden is, so he'll eventually figure it out.

If you deleted that last sentence it would have been perfect, stop being optimistic on these dudes

Breh that's what makes it more impressive... he was winning series for the C's as their best player while he was basically a kid.

SGA is 26 now and dudes talkin bout "he young tho..." like him and Tatum ain't the same age lol

Its neither, but I'll say again. I didn't grow up on the internet. I wasn't raised by it. Im not influenced by it. I didn't learn how to communicate or dialogue from the internet, and the internet doesn't shape my real world life. I've lived a real life away from the internet and continue to do so------>so what I speak about here, is about exactly what I say its about, theres no hidden meaning...

But as I've told you in the past. I dont care to argue about what your perception is. How you look at what I post is about who you are, and doesnt affect anything going on over this way. Have a great day, g!
It's not even about it being my perception.

It's pretty damn obvious to anyone paying attention that you go out of your way to defend Bron, at every turn, and I mean that's your prerogative, I just don't know why you're so intent of arguing against what is obvious. It's the same reason why you do the opposite for Patrick Mahomes.

It's okay if you wanna defend Bron.

Ain't nobody gonna come collect taxes on your posts for doing so.

You have a great day too, breh.

My nikka you doing too much. If anyone else shares your opinion, they are internet nighas too...

Anything I say about a player is about that guy. I may reference a guy as a point of comparison, like Tatum was in mind as they are same age and one is given more if a leash than the other. But this thread is about Shai, the conversation surrounding him, and his play...

I can only conclude that you thought LeBron had anything to do with this, because you're a perpetual internet nikka whose identity and persona is tied to this forum and what you and others say on here...

Because otherwise? Its not even reasonable to anyone who talks ball in real life, to think this thread had anything to do with LeBron. You the only mf in this thread who even mentioned LeBron.....but you don't think you the weird one. Come on, g 🤣

People in real life basketball conversations don't only have "stan wars", and even the tenor of "stan war" dialogue is different in real world, face to face convo...

You definitely don't get nikkas calling each other "fakkits" and "bytches" when debating favorite players in real conversations...

This is where, to anyone who talks ball offline, it's EASILY discernible who is mostly or fully aligned to the net, and who isn't. Mf's offline ain't having a conversation about Shai and thinking you talking about LeBron...

I'm headed to work at 9, I'm in Denver, and I guarantee you this game will come up and I'll mention my overall thoughts about Shai...

I'll let you know how many people think my opinions about Shai have anything to do with anyone else. And everybody know I'm a LeBron guy, when I first met people here I told them "I'm the LeBron of (my workplace)", when we talk basketball its no secret I'm a LeBron fan...

You guys do not politic offline, yall really think these conversations on here are how people dialogue in person...

lowkey Shai been underwhelming all playoffs

I remember during G4 of the memphis series, Shai kept trying to hit that dagger shot, and was bricking until he finally hit it after like 4/5 tries

Where know these threads are ultimately about Bron. It's why you made that post about Jokic the other day -

That is without a shadow of a doubt about Bron (the corresponding posts I quote below are proof of this).

It's the same reason why you try to gas Harden over DWade. It's the same reason why you went out of your way to quote my post last week about how Steph and Jokic are [unfairly] criticized on this board more than Giannis is, and then you tried to twist what I posted as if I was saying they're scrutinized as much as Bron (when I didn't state nor insinuate as such) -

I was specifically talking about not grouping Steph/Jokic in with Giannis. You took it as if was saying they get heat like Bron does. And you only believed that because you're constantly in Bron-defense mode.

Quite clearly you're not either not cognizant of the arguments you make defending Bron or you're being dishonest about it.

@murksiderock you literally made the "The Shai conversations are starting..." That's the the bait for us to double back and shyt on him (which we will do with no problem as you see in this thread).

Yea, outside of game 2 this Thunder vs Nuggets series has been intense high level basketball with highs and lows by both superstars. It’s been a roller coaster watching them succeed and struggle.

And the best part is most the discourse has been absence of the usual stanbases. At least until now perhaps. Only downside to the series is one of Jokic or Shai has to lose and be subjected to the bullshyt..

Because not every superstar receiving some historic attention needs their first (or future) stumble to be dramatized or weaponized to preemptively disqualify them for any future praise that may god forbid approach youknowwho’s level.

The one thing I have to push back on is that he is useless when he is not scoring he is very good off the ball. To be fair Shai has played pretty respectably up to this point and Denver has flaws but they are experienced. If Shai disappears from here on out this conversation has more legs. In short. Let's wait and see. Because he is on the early part of his prime years.

That first round exit has Rich and Klutchsiderock working OT to spin narratives :wow:
🤣 I know you trolling though and my favorite nickname on here is "klutchsiderock" 🤣

Its amazing how many of these guys don't have real conversations off the net, everything is a conspiracy to these wack nikkas 🤣 mf's in real world in person basketball conversations don't think or talk or behave like this, and everybody who has offline conversations know they don't 🤣

I look at that from a totally different direction, if Steph can win 3 rings and not be the guy why would you need to wait to say Shai with no accomplishments isn't the guy. Y'all are too optimistic on players... You're eventually gonna say he trash and can't perform under the bright lights anyway, why wait??? Call a nicca trash today and save time.

I was gonna say, um shouldn’t we wait until the series is actually over before losing our cotdamn minds with the narratives?

But fukk all that; this series, next series or a series 3 years from now… why run from it? :ehh:

Shai is fukkin trash :camby:
