Teo is horrible against movers so Shakur can legit give us a Snooze fest UD, but I`m interested in seeing if Shakur wants to entertain us which would give Teo the opportunity to do his thing

I think winning in such a way where Teo (and fans) can say "he ran the whole time", could hurt Shakur's box office.
Yeah thats my thing even though Teo doesnt have fans lol. This is the stage for Shakur to win back detractors + casuals + vslidate his supporters
I was high on shakur, went to the Herring fight but then dude started (or i was just exposed) to dude moving like a goofy. Like he was talking cash money and then having fights like the DLS fight. I can see if he was more stoic and was a win by anymeans kinda person but the attention seeking and shyt talking when you not about that life turned me off.

I meant boxing fans in general. But I agree with you about him being on the rah rah shyt and then having those sort of performances. A win is a win. But just winning doesn't necessarily sell ppvs.

- People said he "ran" against Jeremia Nakathila, but Shakur actually knocked him down in that fight
- Didn't "run" against Jamell Herring
- Didn't "run" against Oscar Valdez
- Didn't "run" against Robson Conceicao and knocked him down in that fight
- Didn't "run" against Artem, and Artem was the one who was running the last 3 rounds of the fight
I get the sense alot of people have not watched any Shakur fights before his fight with De Los Santos. Narratives are so easy to stick, that people just parrot it like it's fact. It's crazy
The point is Post Herring (a Fight I was at) Shakur went on a run of Snooze fest. The issue is the "Ass beat" shyt talking + tweeting his life away which amplified things as stated. No need to do all of that style of shyt talking and then getting emotional on social media especially when he really did have a hand issue at some point during that run. Point is Casuals keep the lights on, and nobody is going to waste money seeing someone deemed annoying. It's a reason Shakur was on the undercard of a Berlanga fight yet being the most accomplished and best person on the card lol.

You're not understanding. It's a casual and reckless point of view that a fighter needs to fight "what the casuals want" in order to prove "it's not a snoozefest"
"It's a reason he wasn't the headliner and on the undercard". I know a couple people who went to that Shakur/Zepeda/Sharaz/Berlanga fight. Many people either left the stadium after Shakur won in which they missed the main event, or went to sleep before the main event if they watched it on TV. Promoter and Youtubers have no idea what fans want. Promoters should blame themselves for being incapable of promoting a fighter who is not a knockout artist. Promoters have convinced ya'll that pure Boxers aren't entertaining
Pernell Whitaker was promoted very well as a pure Boxer when he was fighting, and he was not a knockout artist. Haney has been promoted very well also, and he's a pure boxer. He listened to idiots online that he needs to fight out of character and almost got knocked out against Ryan Garcia. Imagine that
