No one else is going to report this but IDC....I'll tell yall the truth and I know this to be a fact from a very reliable source.

Durant was BEGGING Jayson Tatum to get the Celtics to trade for him earlier this year and out of his current situation in Phoenix.

Tatum didn't want him.

I keep telling everyone Durant is not the guy people think he is and without Curry he'd be seen the same way we see Barkley or Malone.

This description been pretty evident for a while now. The media elevates him as part of this holy trinity with LeBron and Curry... but that always came across as fugazi. Obviously it worked out great for GSW fans, but him interjecting himself in the LeBron vs Curry / CLE vs GSW warfare kinda felt like how Shaq interjected himself into the TNT show all those years ago: it was already good without him, arguably better. bc it lost some of the tension one everyone knew one team was clearly more stacked.

Then those Draymond interviews around Covid time about how things fell apart after they won in 2017 bc KD was upset ppl weren't elevating him over Bron and jealous that GSW fans still adored Curry more... like, wtf did he expect?
