What do you mean “what does that have to do with anything” the the Superbowl was one game between 2 teams that otherwise produced good product all year…. these shytty teams that were mentioned in my previous tweet were bad ALL YEAR, producing bad product ALL YEAR, in fact several NFL teams have been terrible for much longer than just last year alone yet nobody makes a major fuss about it and thats apparently even with the star players playing as you said.
If the emphasis of having star players play is to enhance the product the NFL has been failing at that for several of these franchises across its league… teams that were garbage last year and beyond... yet no one cares and it's not a narrative and that's because the NFL doesn't voluntarily lean into making their alleged negatives the headline story like Silver does.
