That's what certain type of comedy is supposed to do. The reaction by the people who aren't laughing/are upset in the room makes it funnier for the people who are already laughing. But that's what the "anti-woke" people on twitter complaining about the crowd don't get. If everyone in the world was ok with all type of jokes, there would be no "edge" or line to be crossed that makes certain type of comedy interesting or surprising. And to be fair, some comedians don't seem to get that either.

Yeah there were a few good ones but you can tell that like all award shows he used writers (I think he talked about it on Kimmel earlier this week)
