I can understand though, because Shane is clearly a boxer first and a businessman as an afterthought. It doesn't make sense from the outside because for one we know what happened and also at the time we expected Pac to beat him, but I'm sure in Shane's mind he probably thought he'd easily beat Pac. And if he beat Pac, at that point in his career and with Pac at his peak, it would have put Shane into a better position than he could have been as a bit owner in GBP anyway. I wouldn't call it stupid or shortsighted or anything like that, I just think it's a gamble he took on himself that he lost.He wasnt thinking about the big picture. With all due respect, please check your facts and CALL SHANE or his publicist before writing stories that aren't true. This was poorly done - and this series is old news, by the way. Do you believe everything you see on TV? Shane owns five gorgeous homes, has plenty of money and has NEVER lived in anyone's basement. A long time ago, when this series was filmed, he visited his kids at the house HE OWNED when he and Jin broke up and would stay in the THEATER room (not a basement) when the kids begged him not to go. He had and still does have plenty of homes to choose from. He's a family man and loves his kids. You can imagine not having them every night would be hard so the BIG theater was not a bad option when dad wanted more time with the kiddos. Please, Google, call, do something before writing stories that are irresponsibly done and facts aren't checked. TV is TV... period. People, disregard this article. Shane is FAR FROM BROKE and will be in his own TV series this summer: Knockout 2.
