Former Missouri defensive end Shane Ray was cited for possession of marijuana according to an online arrest report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. He has since been released.
Ray, a consensus All-American for Mizzou last season, took down SEC Defensive Player of the Year honors after he led the league in sacks with a school-record 14.5 and tackles for a loss (22.5).
He's widely considered as one of the top players in this year's draft and is projected by some as a potential Top 10 pick.
