Until this is resolved I wouldn't expect him back. Hell he might not be back anyway because this is a civil case and it's a bunch of mud slinging. You can't as Disney give a platform to a potential sexual abuser and not face a major backlash. Smith is the star not Sharpe so they can just cut him loose and lose nothing.

ESPN deserves blame in this as well as they should have put their foot in their neck when the IG video happened instead of letting him go unpunished especially since it was an obvious stunt.

ESPN suspended him on that wouldnt have stopped anything.
It's nice that they let him step down temporarily instead of just outright firing him.
It wouldn't have stopped anything, but optics wise it wouldn't have given the impression that they were enabling his behavior especially since they put him on air earlier this week when they shouldn't have.
