Dems are easily outpacing the GOP in early vote here. You may have heard the total number for Dem mail ins is down vs 2020 and Republican ballots are up over 2020, which is accurate.

That's expected - there are way less mail in ballots requested because 2024 is not a pandemic year, and Republicans stopped telling their voters that mail in votes were fraud and encouraged them to vote early this year.

I'm not basing my opinion on vibes regarding whats around me. I'm on the polling sites and looking towards updates like you are; but Polling isn't as much of a factor right now, especially since there are many trump sponsored polls, intending on making the race look closer than it really is, dropped like crazy in an unheard of fashion in order to be a contingency plan to bring to the courts.

I live in Chicago; but not reallly looking around and going "yep" my city going kamala so therefore she's winning...
