CP3 is better at:
- Getting around screens
- Switching
- Knowledge of opponents plays
- Cutting off drivers
- Help defense
- Closing out on shooters
- Calling out rotations
- Consistency

With how much PnR is played today, these types of defensive abilities are more important than 1 on 1 defense.

I'm not sure where y'all getting these stats from but if you ever watched cp3 play you'd know he can't guard a fly. He can come up with a steal a couple times a game but he's still just an older fatter Kyrie

To begin the year, Kyrie was among the league best in defense.

His problem isn't ability, but he lacks a defensive motor.

CP3 is a terrible on ball defender, he can’t stop anybody (except a young KD). Opportunistic and, gets steals but not known for being a good defender
