Also funny that Prime Shaq never gets blame for the horrible Lakers Play-Off exits either with Prime Eddie Jones, Nick Van Exel, etc.

Prime Shaq who “can win titles anyone” was 1-9 vs Utah in the Play-Offs with Eddie Jones.

They throw everyone else under the bus and “selfish” players. Not the fact dude goes 6/16 or 10/25 vs the Jazz or fouling out. Rather blame a rookie Kobe for the losses.

If Kobe never came around, does dude really get a ring?

On KRS One's nose, eating sunflower seeds.
He's just an idiot cac with a tiring schtick.
Yeah yall gotta stop arguing with the anti-Kobe dudes. No matter what facts you post, it’s not going to convince them. It’s cool to downplay Kobe now. Shyt is stupid. Fact of the matter is Kobe’s on/off court legacy, rings, accolades, and stats are real, not hypothetical like these arguments. And his counterparts with or without Shaq don’t come near to his accomplishments…in real life.

Imagine hinging all your sports arguments around rings because you lack the ability to understand context and nuance.

:picard:

Yall keep circling the same wagon.

Rangs rangs rangs!

Until Bill Russell enters the chat. Then suddenly you all decide to bring context when it’s convenient for you.

98 Lakers had four all stars, 61 wins, Shaq was the leader, and we got swept

I called it out many years ago how Shaq never gets blamed for his late 90s chokes, and nikkas here defended him for dear life because the ultimate goal is to downplay Kobe.

The thread’s subject is Shaq talking about 3 rings in a row. What else are they going to argue about? Are you referring to Shaq?

Then afterward Parker, Manu, Duncan, DRob, etc. were there to stand in the way.

I’m sorry, but there weren’t many players Shaq could've paired with to take those Spurs teams down. Kobe was an ideal counter to them.

Kobe and Duncan probably win 3

Kobe and Dirk probably win 3

Put Kobe with any premier big man in that era and the results are the same.

Easy to speak on dead mans legacy lol

Kobe and Duncan would have been unfair.

Duncan already won in 2003, 2005, 2007, 2014 (for argument's sake, ill ignore 1999). You add Kobe to those four years and they're crushing the Nets, Pistons, Cavs (shyt would be extra sad :dead:), and the Heat. Kobe with Duncan are winning in 2008, 2009, and 2010. Boston would be a never was. Like they deadass win 7 rings without even including the Kobe/Shaq three-peat. They would be HATED for winning so much. The Second Apron would have gotten implemented a decade sooner in this timeline :pachaha:
