Like I always say.…the most incompetent... mentally ill... low information stanbase in sports by farWhatever you say won't change the fact that TMac failed worse in the playoffs than Harden or Embiid ever did. Talking about him replacing Kobe when he hisself got replaced by Ron Artest after an injury and watched his team go further than he ever took them or any team. He couldnt even do what Ron Artest did yet we supposed to skip over that and hundreds of other players to lie and say he could do what Kobe did
James Harden has been clowned for his playoff failures but he led his teams better and further than TMac or Vince ever did. Regular season and playoffs. Meanwhile TMac is also the only scoring champion in NBA history that never won a playoff series.

Why the fukk is Pau Gasol name randomly getting dragged into this damn conversation
Pau was winning international games before the 07-08 Laker season yet I see some names trying to portray him like he was some empty stats guy doing nothing until Lakers finally got him:
Pau won Fiba World Cup 2006 with Spain and got that tournament's MVP trophy as well, won silver Eurobasket medals in 2003 and 2007, won Spanish league trophies before he entered NBA draft. It's like basketball doesn't exist to some outside the NBA.
Why do you think the Lakers were interested in Pau Gasol? Because they saw that he could deliver in important games if only he played on actual good team. Dude was pretty consistent in games under pressure.
Those Grizzlies had no business winning shyt. Lost to prime Spurs and also got swept by Phoenix Suns with prime Amare destroying Stromile Swift to the point where Swift looked like Temu version of STAT when both were in the game lol.

Now we using international ballThe lakers were interested in Pau because the Wolves refused to trade KG to us. There were several big men we tried to trade for before Pau.
The Grizz were good enough to win 1 game in 12 tries especially when they had two players on the team with DPOY votes, the 6MOY and another player who got 6MOY votes.
They had the #1 defense in the league that year how do they have no business winning even one game
