Say the "Showtime" Lakers played the same as the "Bad Boy" Pistons, breh:francis:

Why?

Unlike the current product, the public likes Inside The NBA :heh:

We get it from having watched the NBA for decades, genius. :comeon:

LeBron said the same thing as well.

Lemme guess, he's hating as well.

The NFL is a better product than the NBA :yeshrug:
True true.

I like that the youngins can get paid earlier, but NFL guys come into the league ready to play. NBA guys drafted high are usually selected off potential and require more development.

Plus the guys getting drafted in the NFL......we spend 3 to 5 years watching them in CFB and they come in with a pre-made fan base. Only diehard hoops fans watch CBB and NBA. Not much overlap in those two groups of fandom. We get 2 more years of watching Jeremiah Smith at tOSU. He'd be a lottery pick, maybe #1 overall if his basketball talent equivalent was going to the NBA.

Honestly JJ was right. But to me on that panel it only applies to Shaq. Kenny is defending the players more than anybody. And Barkley just is who he is. He doesn’t really trash the game. He just holds players and teams accountable and says stuff he likes and dislikes, always given good reasoning for his points, whether good or bad. For all the things he say they don’t do as good as players once did, he equally talks about a bunch of shyt that they are better at than the days before. He has a positive funny personality and is actually smart with basketball. People enjoy hearing him talk, so people tune in and don’t care about any of his criticisms. Plus he does big up players a lot. I love Shaq, but he always negative and gives takes without any compressive analysis and just references himself for how soft a player is or whatever else. Shaq not going anywhere and I love him and Barkley dynamic. But he is the one that shyts on the game and makes it look like a bad product. Only thing redeeming about him is that he is occasionally funny and has a strong personality. I hate when Draymond is on the show. But when he is , I notice I don’t really care for Shaq either on there

LOL! If any of the shyt you said was the case, Inside the NBA wouldn't be renewed.

"for whatever reason" is you closing your eyes to what's been laid out in here.
Reading comprehension is at all time lows...apparently

I dont have a problem with inside the nba or the nba as a whole....I'd prefer they cut the 3s down a bit but it is what it is....

Really? in 93 Chicago played the same style as the Knicks or Phoenix? Seattle played the same as Detroit? In 96 Seattle played like Utah?
As I said do the magic play the same as the Celtics? Do the pistons play the same as the pacers?

But you call out the people who do and their reasons for it as if they aren’t legit criticisms

Even European players see what the game's devolved into

Peja Stojakovic reveals his biggest issue with the NBA today: "Too many players have a green light to shoot everytime"

Now, the Euros are hating too, I guess. :heh:
The problem with this is, if you're open you're encouraged to shoot.

A lot of the critiques surrounding the game today fail to contextualize that's the best way to generate offense. These old heads want teams just to play the same way they did and run some some post-ups, or run some traditional actions to get a shot off. That's where the disconnect lies. Teams today are playing to win and not playing to appease some archaic methods about how the game should be played.

The league-average eFG% this season was 54%.

From 1947 to 2008, that number never rose above 50%. So is shot selection really a problem when offenses are more efficient than ever? Why is better efficiency a bad thing in this context?
