Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
lol ur so stupid

How is he stupid? Shaq tells stories about how Phil took him to a game in Atlanta, pointed at John Koncak and said how much he was making as a point to get Shaq to play more in the post cause big ass Shaq wanted to be Magic. His father steered him into the post, without that guidance he could be DeAndre Jordan or some shyt, all the best post players in history seem to have a father in their life that basically said "Son, get your big ass in the post".

Convenient ass story. Ain't he been curving his dad who used to come to games to see him when he was blowing up with the Magic? I ain't got to dig in my shoebox of 90's piff to remember the track "Biological didn't matter","big fella. :coffee:

Props to him for letting go of that and finding it in his heart to finally accept him. :ld:

He gave shaq's biological father credit for him being who he is today.

"technically his bio dad made shaq who he is"

Only on the coli does that piece of shyt deserve credit for not being in his child's life.

Broham he wasn't giving him credit if anything it was a backhanded compliment. If his dad was around and an alcoholic, drug using, woman beater chances are high he probably wouldn't be who we know him as. Because Phil was around and his biological didn't bother he had stability, a man that loved him and his mom and a man with discipline.

Nobody is saying praise his dad, but be thankful he wasn't there.

Didn't know his pops got locked up shortly after he was born.

Doesn't justify it because he could have reached out after he got out of jail, but at that point the family had moved on.

Lol, I'm not saying he deserves sole credit for how shaq turned out. I'm saying if he stuck around shaq might've became a totally different person. Pretty simple really.

I still don't see why you're mad
Mad? I just gave my opinion on why that statement was bullshyt.

Technically his mom being a strong black woman, finding a suitable environment to raise a huge black man in America and making sure he stayed on the right path, made him who he is.

Not really. Shaq's talent for basketball was not dependent on whether he had a absentee father....

Talent has to be nurtured if he was in a bad situation who knows what would've happened. We all know plenty of people who've had immense talent and didn't do anything with because that talent wasn't nurtured or they had family issues. The statement was nothing to be outraged about read in between the lines to understand what he was saying.

His father didn't appear till he was 18 and on his way to being a star.

He didn't bother till it was too late.

"Derr, if Shaq's dad was in his life, Shaq woulda sang Jonny B Goode at his wedding" :childplease:

What other Butterfly Effect bs yall wanna come up wit :lupe: If Shaq's dad was there, 911 wouldn't have happened. Maybe MJ would still be alive today :lupe: Maybe WW3 would have set off if Shaq's dad was there.

Some of yall post like white boys, I swear. There's no way to tell how Shaq woulda turned out w his dad in life, so why bother

But as long as he's here now, maybe he'll beat the c00n out of The Diesel. I'm currently disappoint in #34 :mjcry:

Well most of us that familiar with the Diesel back in them Shaq-Fu times know that shyt. But from the title you'd think he's meeting him for the first time without being aware of dude's whereabouts before that.

But outside of all of that, good for him. Shaq, despite his commentary been pretty business savy during and after his NBA career. He ain't going to let Pops fukk that up.

I was never sad about not having a dad and have never felt an ounce of hate towards him.
Just wasn't a thing I thought about.
But I have absolutely no interest in meeting him, being forced to talk to him a few times over the past three years was more than I ever wanted, which was nothing.
