Why should he chill? Talking about Reese/Clark is the most lucrative thing he can do while waiting for football to start. ESPN does it too. It's clear that they've decided this is how they survive without football (and NBA) and it's been the play for two years now. If anything, RG3 will double down even more because he doesn't have ESPN money anymore. He has to make this work.

Which is why...while I don't fukk with Shaq AT ALL it's hard not to take his side here. Some people's behavior can only be altered or influenced by violence, and I think RG3 is at that point. He needs to be slapped or worse. Any black man who willingly jumps at the opportunity to demonize a black athlete while praising a white one has to go.
