Why do you care so much? Are you a jazz fan? He’s been arguably the top defender in the league 7 years straight, very few people can ever say that and they’re all in the HOF. Relax
Dog Stop it. This is the Coli we talk sports so stop the bullshyt about caring..

Rudy makes $200 million and you cant dump it down to that nikka for him to dominate :hhh:

Thats a travesty and that’s why Shaq is shytting on him..

Shaq takes that dominant big man shyt serious

Go out there and dominate you fukkin bum :scust:

Gobert would give him a harder time then he think :shaq2:

:dahell: so you think Gobert is better than Dikembe Mutombo?

Shaq gave Dike work in the '01 Finals. He woulda eaten Gobert alive. Weakside rim protectors like Gobert never bothered Shaq. The best guys at guarding Shaq had strength to not let him get deep post position. That ain't Gobert. Shaq would put him under the basket every play and dunk on him.

I understand to be the all time great you have to be an a$$hole, otherwise you'll crumble in big games. But damn Shaq has a midget insecurity complex. He knows he would have more championships if he stayed in shape. So to make himself feel better he shyts on current era bigs, unless they are talented on offense like Boogie or Lopez.

I don't remember Shaq dropping 45 with 16 rebounds on Marcus Camby, how the fukk would he do that on Gobert???
:dwillhuh:

Look at what Shaq did to a player better than Gobert in the 2001 Finals. What the fukk are you talking about??

What’s the point in this, this nikka always got to shyt on the current players even when no one is even comparing them.

Use to be my favorite player:hhh:

the insecurity of this nikka Shaq is so feminine. :scust:

This is not insecurity. He's just answering someone and told the truth.

Are ya'll seriously thinking Gobert could give Shaq any issues? Do ya'll even knoe basketball?

Just cause a guy gets weakside blocks don't mean he can guard Shaq. This would be the equivalent of thinking Allen Iverson could guard Kobe cause he got a lot of steals. Everyone knows A.I. lacked the size to bother Kobe regardless of how many steals he got a game. Gobert shotblocking is no different. He would have no chance against Shaq.

I see no issue with what Shaq said.. just some harmless trash talking

Its not even trash talking. Its truth.

Shaq destroyed Dikembe Mutombo who was a better version of Gobert. Both were not very strong but had great length and got a lot of weakside blocks. Centers like that never bothered Shaq.

According to Shaq's own words the guys who gave him the biggest problems were Derrick Coleman and Brian "Big Country" Reeves. Both guys who had a lot of mass and could physically much Shaq's brute strength.

Shaq would eat Rudy Gobert alive. He told nothing but absolute truth in that post.

NBA is literally the worst when it comes to older playing talking about younger ones

No other sport is this horrendous :mjtf:

Well this generation of NBA players is absolute trash so I don't see a problem with the older players not respecting them.

You never saw Magic, Bird, or Jordan disrespect Kobe. Real recognize real. The players of today are just far wose than those in the past.

It’s mostly big men

He shytted on Tim Duncan and constantly says the 1999 championship the Spurs won doesn’t count (Timmy outplayed and swept him on the way to the chip). He also says u can replace Timmy with Chris Webber and still see the same success, which is objectively dumb

he has this unrealistic view of embiid, and if embiid doesn’t average 30/20, then he’s not trying. He acted like Embiid getting swept last playoffs was His fault

he recently trashed Dwight Howard for winning a chip last season.

Just off the top of my head

EDIT: constantly shyt talking Javale, even when it wasn’t warranted in the slightest. Just being an a$$hole for the sake of being an a$$hole. Unnecessarily excessive

he also downplayed Luka’s game winner against the Clippers. It was a great moment for Luka in his first ever playoff series, against a group of a$$hole players that wanted to bully him for no reason

You sound like a whiny cac with that last point about Luka.

With regard to the point about Embiid. Shaq just has high expectations for him given his talent. I actually agree with him expecting more from Joel than we've got thus far.

The Duncan/Webber point ain't wrong. C-Webb in his prime was a leading MVP candidate. He had the Kings closer to beating the 3-peat Lakers than Duncan did during that run. He just had a knee injury that cut his prime short. At his peak Webber was seeing Duncan eye to eye the same way T-Mac was right there with Kobe. If someone said you could replace peak T-Mac with Kobe and the Lakers still 3-peat, I wouldn't take it as an asinine position.

It's not about him being able to guard Shaq tho. Who said Rudy would be able to that Shaq needed to go out of his way to shyt on duke?

every single generation in history thinks the generations that follow are trash

its an unfortunate circle of life

oldheads hated on Shaq when he was in his prime

it just trips me out how we get to a certain age and seem to forget what it felt like being shytted on

to hear nikkas like Cwebb, KG, Shaq, Barkley, even down somebody like Gilbert Arenas....i remember all them being blasted for how much money they were making, shyt they were doing off the court, how the league was watered down and trash, how most of them were soft and unskilled....fast forward, they saying the same exact shyt and nobody seems to have the awareness to notice what they're doing

its even more fukked up when think about how these guys are here to cover and promote the league but spend more time talking about how wack nikkas are :mjlol:

i remember Barkely saying nhl was way more entertaining than the nba WHILE doing an nba broadcast...that cant be good for business can it?

is listening to webber and reggie miller talk about how trash the league is while the games are on, good for the product?

should we get some young nikkas that actually enjoy the league to cover this shyt? :jbhmm:

im just sayin tho....

Bron and them are gonna be the first time I have full understanding and context from when they were young hotshots hearing the criticism, to the transition over to :flabbynsick: when their criticism is sought after. Most of the legends I grew up watching (late 90s-mid 00s) seem to be more gracious towards the new players, but I also checked out of most sports media tbf. It's all about the viral headline or clip

LOL @ you goofballs thinking Shaq is putting up 45 pts in 3 quarters.

He'd get pick-and-rolled to death all game in this era.
He'd be dominant -- without question.

But he'd be in motion defensively so often that he'd need to be in much better conditioning...and the offenses today function in such a way that there simply would never be the opportunity for him to attempt enough shots/dunks to get to 45 points in 3 quarters. That's not how Centers now are used.

The people who cry about "do you watch the games" ....like....do you watch the games today? :mjlol:

Do you know what Shaq's value would be in 2021?
He'd be a constant double-team that allows the offense to kick out for 3 pointers all game.

Prime Shaq isn't averaging 45 in 3 quarters, much less a game.
In 2021 he's far more likely to get 22-25 but with potentially 8-10 assists per game. That's where the 2021 value would be.

Yall swear yall know basketball but say the dumbest shyt.
