Told yall once Lebron retires and isnt constantly in the news cycle,we will start to see real conversations be had again. Kobe will be back in that goat mix again.
And lets be clear,TMac aint say all this
Gotta love Shaq as a Lakers fan,but he says stupid things sometimes lol. People will read this as him saying Steph is better than Kobe. But im assuming he only means the kind of open 3s Steph would get playing with him makes them unbeatable. Which factually is a fair assesment.
Im just glad Kobe KNEW this is the kind of convos that would be had so made it a point to do his own thing without Shaq. I was upset when i felt he broke up the dynasty. But he was a foward thinker and saw his rings would be downplayed in the future.

Shaq being greedy lol. He's thinking about all the single man defense he would've gotten with Steph. Teams would have to pick between Steph firing off 10 threes a game or Shaq getting 40 points in the paint
Would've been deadly but, of course, Steph isn't the defender Kobe was and sometimes looks pedestrian when the three isn't falling. Same thing would've happened with Steph too. He would've gotten Shaq sent off to win rings on his own.
When Kobe said he could've gotten 6 if shaq stayed in shape, Shaq got butt hurt.

Post Shaq, Kobe never won a playoff series, and also missed the playoffs 1 year. Wasn't until Pau Gasol came on the team, did he have playoff success again
