As the old saying goes... Father time is undefeated.

The fukk does Father Time have to do with shyt? Steve Nash is 39, John Stockton played well until 40. Greg Oden, Jay Williams, Brandon Roy, Grant Hill, Allan Houston, Tracey McGrady were crippled young. Catching a bad break has nothing to do with age.

The better question is why would Kobe want to play until he's 40? He want to say he dunked on fathers and sons?

he can say whatever he wants but unlikely to happen.

This..... I'm a BIG Kobe fan, but I can look at things objectively. I'm only gonna dignify one more response on here then I'm washing my hands of it because it's obvious that some people can't use reasoning and logic

There's a pattern with the players that have longevity and the players that don't. Height......... There are published medical studies that very tall people have more problems with ligaments and joints because in order to be tall, the ligaments and joints are abnormally stretched. It is rare for very tall players to have longevity in sports(players like Kobe and Jordan are the anomalies), especially when more and more players are accumulating more and wear on their bodies, starting as young as middle school.

Players like Stockon, Nash and Hornacek are short, therefore their ligaments are normal and are more likely to have longer careers than taller people.

As Kobe, maybe you should tweet him and ask?

Shall I continue breh?

If you dont believe Kobe can do it...that's cool.

But to say "due to height", that's completely false. As a matter of fact, out of the 24 players (I'm including both Nash and Camby since they will both be 40 this year) to ever reach the age of 40 and still play in the NBA....only 6 of em were UNDER 6'6:yeshrug:

Dude should just give up and go enjoy his spoiled wife and her youth.

Why do people always want older players to retire? Even the ones still playing at a high level? It's their life, if they can still get it done then let em ball.

He can keep playing..won't be winning a title as an elite prime player though. He MIGHT do it as a sidekick but that's it.
