I wonder if theres an unreleased 1998 Kurupt and DMX collaboration? I dont know if there was a studio at the photoshoot for The Sources Raps New Generation issue or what but Kurupt literally has a song with almost every single other person on that cover and in the main next generation segment of the issue except DMX, and he shouts X out in a song he did with other ppl from that issue. So at least whenever that photoshoot took place they were cool.

Crazy thing with Kurupt is how there was no Snoop feature on his debut album. Even Dre has a verse on there. Surprising that Snoop somehow wasn't involved with the project.
Label politics prevented it, he did have a feature tho, the OG version of the album was played at a BBQ event, there used to be an MTV News article about it that listed the missing songs, Kurupt, Snoop and Cube were supposed to drop a 3 Tha Hard Way album but then A&M folded or was absorbed or whatever and ANTRA and Cubes label had to find new distribution.
I'll drop a Kuruption comp with the missing songs and original versions on the new coli at some point in the near future

Curious what politics were involved given Snoop was on No Limit while the album was bring recorded.
Ultimately Priority and A&M had some issue, A&M blocked Kurupt from appearing on some albums too like MC Eihts Last Man Standing. I'll cover the Kuruption era shyt more in depth on the new site but yeah, Gangsta shyt and Money To Fold were both intended for Kuruption as well as tracks like Motel Hotel. One Snoop feature was recorded while Snoop was still technically signed to Death Row so that might have factored in too, a remade version appeared on a Bad Azz album years later.
Wait, why there? Is this site going down fully at some point? I know it was offline for those couple days.
