This is why Dre had Rakim waiting for 3 years

:snoop:

Don't Eve got an unreleased Aftermath LP too?

Not sure about the amount of material she had with Aftermath but there’s definitely some. I really want a rip of the OG version of Love Is Blind...

I’m quite sure Andre has a whole bunch of albums in the vault from artist we have or haven’t heard of. Like I said in that other thread, if he isn’t confident that it will sell it isn’t coming out.

This, King T and Last Emperor are the biggest let downs IMO...

Thy Kingdom Come and The Legend of Big Foot unreleased/demo versions are damn near classics I can only imagine how they would have sounded if Dre had actually mix, mastered and finished the beats on them.

In a recent interview Shaunta was asked about other female rap artists. She said about Lil Kim that "She is dope, but she needs to leave Atlantic records", and about Da Brat "She is incredible" and last but not least about Foxy Brown "fukk her. She is an insecure, immature little bytch and she is just mad because her man wanted to fukk me".

Thy Kingdom Come is one of my favorite albums, but I’m not really familiar with the Last Emperor’s work at Aftermath. Can you give me some info about that Legend of Bigfoot project? I listened on YouTube and it sounds like it would have been fire. Were all those recorded at Aftermath but it didn’t get to the point where Dre put his hands on it yet?

I always liked Shaunta. She has a sexy voice. Her and Bahamadia have similar voices. I was introduced to her through "Luv 2 Luv". Then she signed to Aftermath about 4-5 years later and I was :blessed:, but still:sadbron: because I didn't really think her album would come out given Aftermath's history. Then "California" was on the 8 Mile bonus disc and I've bumped that song for years. Glad to see it on here.

This all reminds me of that Chairmen of the Boards album Timbaland and Dre were supposedly working on. Timbaland said that he and Dre were switching artists. Shaunta and Six Two are perfect examples of that exchange. Shaunta ended up with Dre and Six Two ended up with Timbaland. Knoc'turnal was working with both Timbaland and Dre. Scott Storch was working with both Timbaland and Dre at the time. There was all kinds of potential mash ups and possibilities.

I fukked with Kingdom Come heavy, even bought the version with the Chicken on it that King Tee dropped.

Not familiar with The Last Emperor joints though, you got a link?

I have no idea. Other than Secret Wars, I hadn't heard any of those songs from him before. He makes references to Aftermath and Dre on a few tracks like Caravan that have similar sound to other "leaked" unfinished Dre/Aftermath production.. I'm just going off of that.
