Every since I've been shaving I've gotten good responses from people but I wanna know whats the secret to getting your shave as close as possible and how do you get the hair from beneath the surface?

You have to experiment. Cut it to close and you might have a nestle crunch bar on your head. I basically lather up, go over once, clean up and then repeat. That seems to work better than try to get close in one try.

Exactly what I do. When I go over it on the first time...there are still some spots with small fuzz/hair so i have to go over it again. It's a pain in the ass at times, but the best way to get the closest shave as possible.

I thought black people were supposed to go with the grain when shaving their head?
Been shaving my head for 12 years and have always gone against the grain. I currently use the gillette fusion proglide
It works on the top of my scalp but no the sides. I basically hit the the top against first and with second.
