HBK vs Taker doesn't really have meaning after they already had a retirement stipulation. I'[m OK with him coming back, but they gotta make the storyline make sense, and a 1 on 1 vs Taker isn't it.

While there’s no way it wouldn’t be a disaster if it happens (you could drop prime Flair and his formula for working with stiffs into 2018 and it wouldn’t matter when it comes to current Undertaker), it actually would make kayfabe sense that they’d wrestle — Michaels could have to win back his career, even if only because of his pride and obsession, and the only way to do that would be through finally beating him on his own.

This company is so laughably incompetent though, they won’t touch on that, the whole story will hinge on Triple H somehow, and he’ll lose any terrible match they have just to randomly show back up in February to cue up the seemingly inevitable Mania match vs Styles.
