The match that never happened that makes you go Some of Vince's decisions have been awful. This match was supposed to happen at WM 11 or 12. The original Mr. Wrestlemania passing the torch to the new Mr. Wrestlemania. Savage's biggest regret in wrestling was that he never topped his match with Steamboat and he knew he could have that match with HBK. It should've been Savage vs Yokozuna at Wrestlemania 10 for the title with Savage going over setting up the Savage vs HBK feud

I think Savage pitched this idea to Cokeboy but it was suppose to be around Wrestle Mania 10 and their program was suppose to be a two year feud. But they went with Razor/HBK rivalry instead and put Savage against crush for mania X.Because Vince felt like Savage should be done in ring. Allegedly, this was one of the reasons why Savage went to WCW later that year.

Imagine it was Savage and Michaels who had that ladder match...but actually Savage against Yoko at mania 10 would have been cool but then you wouldn't have had Bret's big moment and his great feud with Owen and the whole Lex Express stuff

We will truly never know if it would have been better or changed the landscape and it would seem wrong to have taken away Bret from the title picture based off what he went through at wrestelmania 9...Bret would have had a Miz like run and not be remembered as an all time great if they went with Savage against Yoko at 10 for the title

This was during the time Vince was trying to create new stars with the new generation movement so Savage winning at 10 wouldn't have fit in with that...but a feud with Shawn for 11 for the title would have been epic

Bret vs Owen feud still would've happened the whole Bret, Lex, Yoko storyline didn't make any sense. It should've been Savage vs Yoko for the title... Then Bret and Owen continue their feud while HBK and Savage started theirs

I haven't seen any mid-late 90's Macho, but from what I remember he still had good matches but couldn't go at the speed he did in the mid 80's and bump like he used to. It might not've looked like a fast paced prime HBK vs prime Macho dream match.

He wasn't that over because they did the rematch the next year and the fans still cheered Razor over him.

Should've been HBK vs Macho Man at Wrestlemaina 9 not 10. The feud could've started after the Rumble with Shawn telling Mach he doesn't have it no more.

the match they had during the UK rampage 92 (or it could be 93) tour was pretty good. so if they got 15 to 20 minutes they could of told a pretty dope story. Granted savage wasn't the talent he was in the 80's but he could still put together decent matches with guys like IRS, Yoko, and Crush during this time period and Shawn would of went all out, because it would been the high profile feud that he need at the time.
