No, he has TERRIBLE tackling form. He puts his head down. You can go back and search game threads and probably find us commenting on it before he was even injured. Anyone who's ever played football was told "KEEP YOUR HEAD UP." Even the announcers made the observation after he got hurt.

okay, but plenty of players still have terrible form, lead with their head. But never get hurt.

Everyones body is not the same in regards to what they are susceptible to injuring. Some dudes can play in the NFL 10 years and never tear an ACL, some can't get beyond 1 or 2 years.

He doesn't have to heal 100%. He has to heal enough that there's not an increased likelihood of re injury. I know people who've broken their backs. They don't have to stop doing anything if they heal to a certain threshold.
I'm gonna assume you don't know anyone who has broken their back and went back to a sport or profession as physically violent as football.

Shazier is 25 years old. Would you risk being paralyzed for the rest of your life just to play football for what, 5-7 more years?

He will get cleared but the Steelers will cut him. This is the NFL, once you fukk up your spine, you basically treated like having HIV.

Steelers & Rest of the League won't sign him because:
  1. Having him die on the field for taking a chance.
  2. Injury settlement.
His career is over because that type of injury makes teams nervous.

Not sure how that would work... if he’s cleared and teams blackball him, can’t he file some type of grievance?
