I’ve never fallen for the allure of posting my life on socials. In fact, I’ve argued with girls for pulling out their phone to take pictures of the food when we go xyz restaurant. shyt is just weird.

Instead of enjoying the moment people are more concerned with documenting what they’re doing so other people can tell them that yeah they’re living a good life.

Adjacent to this - but anecdotally, men are generally simpler beings than women. I’ve heard plenty of women complaining about going to the abc guy’s place and he just has the essentials and it’s not decorated like a woman’s place would be I think men just get on with life, I guess

It aint her fault. I am guessing see is mid 20s...meaning IG been a thing since she was elemntary/middle school. She doesnt know life without it. So in her world its probably the end all be all for getting to know a person. Kids be telling me they dont exchange numbers...they get IGs. This must be what it was like a decade or so after the phone was widely available and you had girls complaining about dudes phone etiquette and people that grew up only being able to talk in person were like .

I literally tried to be active on socials and honestly it’s tough. I really don’t understand how people can post on IG, Twitter, Snapchat etc it’s too much lol plus I don’t like folks in my business
