They're having one of those years like the UFC had a couple ago. These guys don't get enough recovery time. This isn't the 80's where these dudes were coked up, pilled up and boozed up to numb the pain. Vince needs to scale back the amount of shows they work.
Most these guys getting hurt with the exception of a few are in their late 30's. They can't handle that type of schedule without "help".

I was.He's a top worker and consistently has good to great matches. The League of Nations experiment has to end though because it's holding him back.
WWE's booking period is holding him back. Had a great heel turn with a guaranteed heat generating program of "destroying smark darlings" and they dropped all of that, had him win the MITB and not accomplish shyt since. I don't even count that abortion of a title run.
If anyone doubts the #ProtectReignsAtAllCosts agenda look no further than Sheamus.

As noted, Sheamus revealed earlier that he was wearing a cast, indicating an injury. According to PWInsider, he is suffering from tendonitis in his left arm.
Sheamus has been pulled from the ring and there's no time-table for his return. He is expected to remain on WWE TV in a limited role.
The cast was put on his arm as a precautionary measure to help protect while healing.
