Jerf Blake is considered the best deep passer ever throwing bombs that dropped from high in the sky. Not so much a cannon arm.
Regardless of however you wanna describe his arm, I don't see how Shedeur compares in that capacity.

Shedeur's average air yards to the first-down marker ranked 132nd out of 147 qualifying FBS quarterbacks over the past two seasons
In two seasons at Colorado, he never threw a ball more than 46 air yards.
The deep ball was rarely something he went to, so there really isn't an appropriate sample size to make that comparison.

Mechanically, there might be some similarities there given he spent some time developing under Jeff (no more than any other young cat who he's trained over the years), but nothing jumps out the screen at you and screams they're airing out the ball the same.

Jeff Blake was known for throwing the prettiest and easy to catch deep ball in NFL history. Tear drops. Shedeur has that same type of easy to catch deep ball. The similarities are that simple. And now learning that he coached him, it makes sense.

I’m out of the loop. Deion Sanders son is supposedly an amazing quarterback but got picked late in the draft for certain reasons

How you pronounce his name? He’s lucky kids didn’t called him shytter growing up
:russ: :heh:

"Shedeur is a figure mentioned in the Bible, specifically in the book of Numbers. He is listed in Numbers 1:5 along with his son, Elizur, as a man who lived during the time of Egypt and the Israelites' Wilderness journey."

Don't understand pushing the Brady association when Blake was much more relevant to his development as a QB.
