Shaduer played pretty decent considering he was playing with bums. Did enough to win and ultimately that's all that matters. Shaduer doesn't get enough credit for sparking the offense and giving them a chance to win with close games. That was missing with Dillon and the offense had no energy on top of losing.
He was pretty bad the first half, almost threw like 2 picks, and the fumble. However, he looked ok in the 2nd half, and was ofc good on the last drive. I’m a Shedeur guy, but he’s probably not the future of the team, and Browns should look to upgrade.
With Moore/Mendoza seemingly off the board, Berry should trade for Mac Jones, give Shedeur some competition in training camp. Also, they need to heavily invest in Wide Receivers and O-line in this draft.
Another average/above average game
shout out to Myles....not just getting the sack record but being a leader and having Sheduer's back from Day 1
Overall, I think everyone knows now Sheduer should've been drafted higher than the 5th round, should've been the primary backup to Flacco, and should've became QB1 as soon as Flacco was traded. He gave the team energy, and you could see his teammates rallying around him.
He has a lot to work on, but if the Browns commit to him for at least one season and utilize the offseason properly, perhaps they could have a good year next season with that defense. Sheduer has shown he's definitely a gamer, he's not afraid to make the throws, he doesn't play scared. He even improved a ton as a scrambler/runner. Just needs a coaching staff that believes in him.
1st half was bad but offense barely saw the field cause the defense kept playing so well with take away scores. The offense was off the field for over 30 minutes in the first half. 2nd half he played pretty good and made the game winning drive. Cant ask for more than that from a rookie QB.
Its weird folks are expecting him to be joe montana as a rookie who didn't even get reps until halfway through the season. He still got the sorry ass browns 3 wins which is more than any other QB on their rooster and some of the losses were close. Almost all their starters were out and injured as well.. He needs a proper off season, a new coach and some real weapons around him and start him for the 2026 season before you can do any real evaluation on his future with this team. Not sure why folks are in some rush to make judgements.
Joe burrow played like trash and had a pick 6. Burrow was playing with one of the best recievers in the league in chase and couldnt get it done. When dart throws for 33 yards I dont see folks saying he aint the future. Rookies need to be allowed to be rookies. Shaduer is no exception.
nikkas keeping track of almost thrown picks nowHe was pretty bad the first half, almost threw like 2 picks, and the fumble. However, he looked ok in the 2nd half, and was ofc good on the last drive. I’m a Shedeur guy, but he’s probably not the future of the team, and Browns should look to upgrade.

Fair point, I’m a Shedeur Stan, but I was being objective. If Andrew Berry is on the warm/hot seat, then you have to upgrade the qb room, because hoping for Shedeur to take a leap with no backup plan is a recipe for disaster.
If Berry isn’t on the hot seat, then I’d just add offensive talent, and hope Shedeur can be good in 2026. Worst case scenario, Sanders sucks, and the Browns can just get a qb in a loaded 2027 class.
Can Stefanski tooThe Browns will be looking to upgrade at QB, whether that's thru the draft or free agency. They have a bottom 3 offense; you can't afford to throw away another season with this very good defense trying to sift through the pieces on offense. Change the playcaller, bring in another QB to start, and make Shedeur QB2 unless some team wants to trade for him.
