I'd take Mendoza or Moore over Sanders without blinking. If they're gone then sure, I wouldn't reach on anyone. If I was trolling I'd be sitting here saying Ty Simpson is better than Sanders. He's not lmao.

I'm obviously not a Browns fan. My play would be simple: either (Option A) draft Mendoza/Moore or (Option B) take Carnell Tate. Or trade down a bit.

There was a QB last year with a similar build that put up similar numbers (transferred from Ohio) and he went in the 7th round. Mendoza isn’t a can’t miss prospect. Hes number 1 by default. This QB class is weak.

I think the Browns coaches knew Shedeur was better the whole time. Why else would they waste a roster spot carrying 3 quarterbacks.

And why would they not go back to Gabriel after he completed 7/10 passes the last time he was on the field.

I think their goal was to let Gabriel play, then go back to Flacco. Once Berry traded Flacco, they were going to let Gabriel play all but maybe the final 1 or 2 games making it impossible for him to show anything this year. OR like they previously said, not let him play at all.

Then they would've drafted another QB. And that 5th round stigma would've stuck with Sanders next year. Gabriel would've still been ahead of him, and best case scenario, Gabriel would've been the starter, whoever they drafted would've been the backup and for all we know, Sanders would've been cut, and resigned to the practice squad, since he wouldn't have had enough game tape for teams to kick the tires.

Sanders had a good game against a bad team that's tanking and doesn't have a HC. Congratulations. The next coaching staff isn't going to want to deal with this shyt where great games are praised and bad games are blamed on everyone but Shedeur. It's a headache.
