I wonder how many teams did Shedeur say this too???
Excellent question. At least this one finally deads the stupid ass narrative of teams colluding against Shedeur and the high profile people making the same claims as well :mjlol:

Let’s see if Coli Shedeur stans acknowledge this thread or avoid altogether.

It’s stupid on Shedeur’s part because he could have learned from a QB who had questionable mechanics and play coming out of college and turned it into MVP caliber play.

He’ll get a shot in Cleveland at some this season IMO, but at what expense?

I think it would be one thing if Lamar was older like Rodgers age… then yea…. It’s fine to sit behind him….

But Lamar clearly has a long career ahead of him…. Probably plays for another 10.

Thats a long time to wait. Not to mention, this ain’t the era like say Young was in where whomever the 2nd string is can stay on a teams for like 5-10 years.

Most teams for one reason or another change their backups every year or ever other year
Yeah the are of the Jim Sorgi’s who are backups to the same guy for a long time is over.

Henne with Mahomes was like the last one

The crazy thing is Ravens GM team is a great place to work at. I never heard a player out them as trash or they don't pay their players. Plus with Lamar's style, he is gonna get hurt one day especially as he ages if he doesn't stoop scrambling.

Idda sat my ass down and studied with 0 pressure to play tomorrow and been ready when I'm called.

Boys be hustling backwards cause they want shyt now.

So it’s better to rush yourself out there and flop out of the league the moment you fail? He needs the development and an organization that will allow him to do that without rushing out there on the field.

Get that and then move elsewhere to get those opportunities.

Like I said in a previous post, he’ll get the chance to start in Cleveland and prove himself, but at the expense of what though? Failing and Cleveland tossing him to the bushes altogether after one season?

The moment that happens, dudes are going to pivot saying he should have never been out there in the first place.

Cleveland is a QB burial ground.

But

Huge but...

If he takes them to the super bowl and actually wins it there, he will be the Messiah of Cleveland and they will worship him.

The choice is his and his alone now.

If he starts at any point this season, then that doesn’t bode well for him or any of those guys as it means all of them are getting replaced come draft time.

I think it's understandable to want to be in a position where you see a path toward being the starter.

At the same time, some really great quarterbacks did spend years behind established starters (Steve Young, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady...)

I don't think it's a mistake by Shedeur Sanders to say that to the Ravens.
Brady only spent a year on the bench. Rodgers spent 3 years on the bench. Young spent a year on the bench in TB then spent 4 years backing up Montana in SF. Shadeur would’ve never got a chance in BMore.

Yea because majority of teams in the NFL already have their franchise QB. they didn't need to collude against Shedeur :mjlol:

Reports were out there that the Sanders camp was telling teams not to draft him. But the worshippers were saying it's all BS and the league was colliding against them.

It's a good bet the Ravens aren't the only team they told not to draft him.

Nothing wrong with sitting and learning at a top tier franchise. That's better than going to a completely inept operation like the Cleveland Browns.
