Jordan Love sat behind Rodgers
Rodgers sat behind Favre
Brady sat behind Bledsoe
Rivers sat behind Brees
Young sat behind Montana

If you have talent, you'll get a shot. Declining because you just want immediate playing time is not a good look.
I think he should've let the Ravens draft him. I literally said he would've been better off. I think him being on the Browns is the absolute worst outcome so far.

I just get why he didn't want to go to a team he knows he will never be the starter for.

I hope it isn't true because that would just be stupid. At that point, getting drafted should have been his only goal. Even if you weren't going to have a chance to start any time soon, at least you would be with a stable organization who would have given you opportunities to show your worth so that maybe another team would have picked you up. Now he's QB 3 on the Browns who will probably be looking for a new HC/GM soon and may be drafting another QB.

Non story. Lamar Jackson is 28 a top 3 player in the league what young QB would want to go there.:dead: Some of yall argue over anything.:mjlol:
Is the Browns and their QB graveyard the better solution?

We're talking about a late round pick here that doesn't have a long leash compared to other QBs drafted ahead.

In hindsight, he probably should've gone there.

Lamar would've taught him well and he'd get traded somewhere else in 1-2 years.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
So if Sanders wasn’t drafted at all, he would’ve gotten teams offering him undrafted rookie free agent deals.

Romo got offers as an undrafted rookie, and chose Dallas because he felt he had a better chance to play.

Being a 5th round pick as a QB is worse than not getting drafted at all, because you don’t even get some form of choice in where you go.

I’m calling cap.

This information was held for 5 months since the draft and didn’t leak?

Let’s say this is true; the Ravens have a top 3 QB in the league and won’t need a franchise QB for years. There were at least 5 teams ahead of them who needed a franchise QB. So why would he want to go to the Ravens?

Also, a lot of y’all turn into uncle toms when it comes to the NFL. shyt is disgusting.

considering Lamar seems to sit out a few games a year that could have been a good spot for him.

could have developed under someone that cared and had a clear path to moving up
yea it mighta been a good spot to come in as a back up and show some capabilities
but its still a gamble

if that tweet above is what you're hinting at...i still don't believe it. Even his response is "you wouldn't believe"

And even IF it was true, who the fukk cares? and he's right to not just be sitting behind Lamar for the next 7-10 years.

You do nikka. You in here discussing it.
