Biggest issue IMO is there really weren't that many teams that needed to draft a QB early
Only 4 were
Giants - we know how they don't like nikkaz at QB
Saints - Deion probably didn't want him there
Browns - Another shytshow QB wise
Steelers - no one had smoke for them passing on him.
everywhere else he'd be a backup behind a QB that is already entrenched as a starter. So no need to take a QB early. When the Saints and Giants passed on him and took other QBs, he was gonna drop or goto a team where he wasn't gonna get a chance to legit compete for a starting job.
But he should have been off the board after Cam and Dart.
For Slough, Gabriel, and even Jalen fukkin Milroe to go ahead of him was comedy.
