Nah I watched a video on a similar sheep last week or so and I remember they mentioned it's something to do with the breed

Just like Chickens are waay bigger than the Jungle fowl that they come from I assume that Sheep are genetically modified to grow that much wool.

You don't see Big Horn sheep in the wild needing to be sheared.
