considering they are all about these HD remakes, it would be great if they released 1/2 in HD, since many people missed out on it the first time. Classic games....cant remember if it was 1 or 2, but you could play sega saturn games if I remember correctly.

It really was bruh, everone had their own schedules and all that.

You could catch a shop keeper openin shop, servin, closin shop, going back home, kickin it with other folks .etc

What makes you say that?

There are dozens of Wiki articles about this topic.

Every die hard Shenmue fan secretly hopes for it but the consensus across the board is this game will never be released. I remember signing an online petition trying to get Yu Suzuki to bring the game over to Kickstarter for funding. There is still a group on twitter that blasts sega weekly to release Shenmue 3. There are numbers floating around the $70 million range in cost for Shenmue 2's development which didn't go over well with decision makers at the time considering the console Shenmue 3 was intended to be on was dead on the water. For years there have been rumors about trademarks being purchased, domains, storyboards, and so forth but all of the rumors were shot down. At this point no one wants to go near Shenmue 3 primarily due to the failure of the Dreamcast.

It's a game I would love to see made, but I've accepted it for years now that this game will never happen. Plus I really enjoy the Yakuza games anyway and they do a good job of scratching the Shenmue game style itch.

Shenmue 3 will never see the light of day. If you enjoyed Shenmue, pick up the Yakuza games which are still being made. Not as good, but a solid substitute that's close enough to it IMO.

I never played any of the yakuza games, and I might not, they claimed sleeping dogs was like Shenmue and it wasnt even close,no game not even GTA is like Shenmue in the realistic sense, that's what set Shenmue 1 apart from all these other storyline games, doesn't hurt that the storyline was:whew:

Had a nikka want to stand outside in the cold and grab leaves brehs. Ryo was that dude. I still maintain that Lan Di is the hardest mufukka in gaming. First minute of knowing him, he murked your pops.

Lan Di was a gangsta, but i was prepared to take him out in Shenmue 1 if need be:birdman:

I own Shenmue for Dreamcast. Beat it multiple times. I own Yakuza 2,3,4. I finished 2 and started 3. Trust me, Yakuza is about as close to Shenmue as you're going to get. Play it and you'll immediately see the similarities.

And the game is still supported. Part 5 is supposable being made for PS4.

Grand Theft Auto is probably the best game far as the storylines go,but Shenmue was real deal Holyfield, hopefully they drop Shenmue 1 on the xbox or playstation, you need to play it breh

I need to get to Lan Di breh:mjcry:

But Im gonna go cop some yakuza;s today from gamestop and see what it's about:salute:

The voice acting was so bad it was great:ohlawd:

I remember when Shenmue first dropped, gamers was going crazy,I had mom get it for me,I turned it on the first 30 mins of just going thru his room figuring out who to talk to and the voice acting almost made me throw it to the bushes, but I decided to just keep going.....one of the best decisions I ever made as an 10 year old breh:mjcry::mjcry:
