I'm looking at Quantum Break, I'm looking at Crackdown-Cloud powered, I'm looking at Scalebound and I'm thinking to myself. Self.. Halo 5 is great. Halo 6, QB2, Crack4, Gears5, Scalebound 2 will all be out by the time this game hits

What's stopping more companies from going this route? if you want to offer a discount to people who preorder early then do that, don't fake like its a product that won't get made otherwise. Who didn't think Shenmue would reach 2 million dollars in a month? Battletoads would do that easily.

every dreamcast owner had to buy the game twice just for it to break even and still sega would've had all its money problems from past endeavors.
