idk why yall trippin off review scores for a game like this...its a sequel for a game that shoulda dropped ages ago.....if u played the first 2 you already know there wasnt going to be drastic changes....if you're a fan of the first 2 then you're gonna love shenmue 3 fans that haved waited 18 yrs for this game know exactly what they're getting....i say that to say this when it comes to shenmue 3 FUKK A REVIEW....SMDH ign

This really ain't for everybody. It has somewhat modern graphics and presentation, yet the direction, voice-acting and gameplay are STRAIGHT from 2001....
It's very strange to the uninitiated. It took me a few hours to realize what this game is trying to do, and it felt like home again
I love it, cause this is what I wanted when I backed it. New consumers and critics aren't going to "get it" and that's fine
